Power (P) = 18.4 k watts.hour

= 18.4 x 10³ watts.hour

= 18.4 x 10³J/sec hour

= 18.4 x 10³J /sec x 1hour / 1hour = 3600sec

= 18.4 x 10³ x 3600 = 66.24 x 10⁶J

= 66.24MJ.

18.4kW = 18.4e3 W = 18,400 J/s

18,400 J/s * 1hr *3600s/hr = 66,240,000 J <<<<

= 66.2MJ

Watt (W) is nothing but Joule per second (J/s)

So Joule (J) is same as Watt.second (Ws)

1 Ws = 1 J

(1 W) (1 s) = 1 J

(1 W) (1/3600 h) = 1 J

1 Wh = 3600 J

1 kWh = 3600 kJ (kilo Joule)

.......... = 3.6 MJ (mega Joule)

........... = 3.6 X 10^6 J
