Do people have lower IQ during the winter compared to summer?

    I think the darker and longer nights don't lend themselves to getting much done. The spring is a time when people do a Spring clean and start decorating to make up for the lost time. So although I don't think your IQ changes as such, the desire to do much is reduced.

    Don't know, but people who are adapted to cold climates over tens of thousands of years, such as Europeans, Jews, Mongolians and the Chinese, have higher than average IQ scores than the other populations around the world. The reason is probably because in a cold climate, it is very difficult to find enough food to survive, and so only those who are smart were able to survive and leave descendants to future generations.
