When is the last time the Earth recorded a cooler-than-average month?

We always hear how months are the "hottest ever," or at least "hotter than average."

So when was the last time the planet had a cooler-than-average month?

Not since February of 1985 has there been a recorded cooler-than-average month.

If you are talking about average there will be times its cooler and times its hotter. That's how you get an average. SHEEEESH

    December 1980 was less cool.

& September 11 2001. Not cool at all.

I've only ever heard record high or low monthly temperatures quoted for specific areas or regions. I've only ever heard record temperatures for the planet quoted on an annual basis.

And after they've taxed us to the brink, they'll make-up some more lies and move the thermometers again and tell us how our sacrifices have saved the planet.....the old mushroom trick:  keep 'em in the dark and feed 'em ********.

Every month. The current temperature is actually low when you look at deep time. You can see it on the graph below. Earth was much warmer in the past.

The blue line is temperature and the purple is CO2. There's not even a long term correlation.

We've had record cold winters across the US the past couple of years.
