Why my shot during games is so inconsistent?

I've always thought of myself as a good shooter and when i warm up before games and shoot around i have a really good long range shot, but the second i get in full court games i shoot around 20%, even on wide open looks with no defense, is it all just mental?..

Maybe when you practice shooting you aren't doing enough at game-type speeds.  When you practice, it's easy to get everything perfect.  You have time to set up and go through every piece of the motion.  Even wide open shots in a game happen at a faster pace.

During practice, after warming up, practice more shots at a faster pace - work on getting through your shooting motion with a quicker release, take more off-balance shots, etc.

Fatigue, pressure, dehydration, lack of focus and confidence etc.

Because there’s more pressure in the real game.
