Which Presidential candidate supports the senior citizen the most?

What does it matter?  In the end, a person will be the president and do what he wants, not what he promised.  Stupid question not even debatable.

Anyone EXCEPT a Republican candidate. Republicans support business, in the hope that business will hire more people. But this is useless for retired seniors.

Democrats believe that the purpose of the government is to help ensure that all have the ability to create life, and if someone (children, seniors, handicapped) cannot do this for themselves, the government supplies the bare minimum.

So far, Bernie is the only one with a viable program that would help any of us. I like Warren, but Bernie has the experience.

A Democrat.  Republicans would like to cut social security benefits and Medicare; they never wanted either one in the first place.

Trump is currently working to reduce social security benefits and food stamps.  Unfortunately too many seniors need food stamps because the meager cost-of-living increases they get aren't keeping up with the cost-of-living for seniors since health care isn't factored into the equation.

I'm not aware of any candidate making this a major position, but I don't feel the incumbent is senior friendly and I suspect Mr. Biden would be most supportive, although the others, like Ms Warren and Ms Klobuchar, could be as effective. We'll have to see what happens as the compaign goes on.

To answer this question, we must state a major issue that senior citizens face in this country: healthcare. We will go over the currently running candidates who support these issues heavily in their campaign, both Democrat and Republican.

Many Democratic candidates are running for president, more than ever. Joe Biden is currently leading the polling average at 27.2% as of January 14th, 2020. One of Joe Biden's main goals for his presidency is to uphold and improve the Affordable Care Act, which was passed under the Obama administration (during which he was Vice President.)

If you are voting blue this election, another Democratic candidate to consider is Bernie Sanders. Even though he plans to make Medicare accessible to not only non-seniors, he also promises to increase federal spending on healthcare. He would also abolish private health insurance to ensure no monopoly thrives at the expense of the vulnerable.

If you are a registered Republican, you also have candidates to choose from. However, only one of the three seems to make healthcare a priority: Bill Weld. When he was governor of Massachusetts, he made Medicaid more accessible to struggling citizens. If you are not a fan of Trump's policies regarding the abolishment of the Affordable Care Act, you can consider Bill Weld a potential alternative.

Not sure, but Bernie has talked about programs in our favor, for many years, and is still doing so.

At some point in the future, under liberal rule, people may be waiting in lines to get their Soylent Green patties.
