If someone loses their emotions do they have to go back to their family to get them?

Or do emotions evolve naturally?

    It is said we are born as a blank slate, and through experience, gain certain traits as we age. Emotion is something we are naturally born with, but it is developed as we age. It is impossible to lose emotions completely, but equally impossible for our family to simply transfer them to us
