Why can't I fall asleep before 12:00am?

    If you want to induce sleep you need to create a relaxed environment.  Watching TV, Computer usage, consuming caffeinated products, talking on the phone, hot showers etc. will keep you awake.  There are natural sleep aids out there like Melatonin and Valerian root that will make sleep come on easier.  Get into bed an hour before your desired bedtime and read. Make the room as comfortable, dark and quiet as possible.  Sometime I use an essential oil diffuser with Lavender scent or lemon grass.  If all else fails, talk to your doctor.  You could be suffering some form of ailment or hormonal issue.

    Lay as close as you can to the edge of the bed and you'll soon drop off

    There can be so many reasons. One could be that looking at the phone or other such devices will stimulate the brain .

       Put the phone away at least one hour before bed.

        You could be sleeping in too late . These are only 2 causes .
