Pet hair collector for washer/dryer?

We got a dog that sheds full time year round. Collie mix dog so it's fur is long. I vacuum multiple times a week. Our clothing is still covered even after washing and drying. Can anyone recommend something they've had success with placing in the washer and/or dryer? Thank you very much in advance!!

Brush your dog Outdoors on a regular basis. This will remove all the loose fur and contain it in a brush rather than having it all fall out all over your house and belongings.

Another solution is to purchase a can of Static Guard. Static Guard prevents hair and dust clinging to your belongings. Also you may want to try some dryer sheets as they help with static electricity as well.

I have a friend that has two dogs. She lives in Florida and has tile floors. She has a Roomba Vacuum which independently goes around the entire house picking up dog hair without any effort at all.

Wash it twice afternot drying your clothes in the middle, when dried and you said it,s all dried clothes, you you made a bad thing. Now even after they dried, check it up again and investigate for hairs of the animal. Then dust it with a brush wettened by alcohol.

Dryer sheets. They help remove static electricity so the hair comes off the clothes as they dry. And check the lint screen ten minutes into the drying cycle. That's when most of the hair comes off. If the screen is plugged by then, it's hard for more hair to get caught in it. If there seems to be a lot of dog hair in that particular batch of laundry, I may check the screen one or two more times during the cycle.

First work on the dog. Check the food. Better food can actually help with shedding. Do your research, this is just one of many sites

Dailey brushing.  A pain but helps. I use the car version of this

I use rubber gloves to get pet hair off furniture and have a Dyson vacuum that helps, Unfortunately washer and dryer just doesn’t get much off.

    Some products on amazon

Use liquid fabric softener in the washer and at least two fabric softener sheets in the dryer. See if that doesn't help get rid Of the hair problem. I have a cat that you cannot brush due to behavior problems from her previous home. It helps me.

Of course, you could always try placing the Collie in the washer and/or dryer. Boom Boom!...

Best to catch the hair before it goes to the septic system, unless it is a town or city sewer with something like this:
