Why does Facebook censure photographs of the World Trade Center towers?

    it's considered "insensitive" to muslims to post pics of the twin towers, because muslim terrorists flew the planes into them that destroyed them.

    you're not supposed to mention islamic terrorism on facebook because it might be offensive to muslims

    The images are copyrighted and Facebook is requested to remove it at the legal request of the copyright owner. Maybe you don't know this, but the Community Standards and Terms of Service strictly prohibit the practice. There's no censure here.

    They dont Censor it but they can Remove It If you Post Copyrighted Photos and someone Reports them

    Presumably they are other peoples photos so other peoples copyright and illegally used. That is the only reason to block otherwise-legal photos.

    You can hardly just have taken you own, can you...

    Or some text associated with them is in breach of the rules?
