Can not eating for an extended amount of time cause muscular atrophy ?

Update:

I’ve been googling this for hours, and haven’t been able to find an answer. 😕

Yes. You could have spent about an hour watching naked and afraid to learn this. Anyway, if there’s no food, your body will start breaking down muscles to support itself. The body will do whatever it has to do to survive.

You can also get atrophy if you don’t get any proteins. That’s why bodybuilders get a lot of protein when they want to bulk up.

Mostly muscular atrophy is caused by inactivity
