How did entering university affect your decision to eating healthy fikd?

University students often survive on a diet of instant ramen noodles and Poptarts. They can do it at the age of 18-22 because their bodies are resilient. Most universities have given up on healthy options and have fast food vendors in place of a cafeteria.

My daughter always ate healthy.  She did during her four years at her university.  She lived in the dorm all four years, so ate the dining halls.  They had many healthy choices. The only problem was after four years you are eating the same stuff over and over.

Lack of money meant meat was off the menu, so I had a mainy plant based diet. Pizza restaurants were about the only place we could afford to eat out - so that rather offset the health benefits of being vegetarian.
