If it’s just your word against theirs is it worth fighting? What should you do?

I gather that this is related to law enforcement testimony? The law enforcement people have instant credibility in a court. There is something called " In the light most favorable to the prosecution." This means that in the case of one word against the others, they have an advantage. The only thing you can do is attempt to destroy credibility through cross examination. This is very hard to do if you dont have an attorney because most people dont know courtroom protocol.
