Why do creationists get flu shots, if the flu virus doesn't evolve every year?

One of the ridiculous answers that I've seen is that tiny things can evolve, it's just the bigger ones that don't.  No explanation of why that is, though.

How does that relate to the origin of DNA, or the origin of consciousness?

There are a whole variety of flu viruses.   Which one will be most prevalent has nothing to do with evolution

I haven't had a flu shot for 40 years and I don't get the flu. Evolution doesn't cause disease. The mind does.

Many creationists are anti-vaxxers and don't get flu shots. Ignorance in one area often means ignorance in others.

No, I'm not, Fireball. I'm asking why you bother when you don't believe in evolution.
