Why do computers just stop randomly working?

    Computers are very complex machines, both hardware and software wise. There are so many things that depend on each other in order for things to work that if something in that process fails it can cause the system to stop working.

    Sometimes it is easy to figure out what caused the problem through some troubleshooting. Other times, it seems impossible to know what caused the issue.

    What do you mean "computers stop randomly working"?

    Randomisation is usually run in a loop so it drops out of the loop.

    Often on my machines it's thrashing. That's a techy term. Go look it up.
