I'm assuming you want to know how it started, and why it is here?
No one knows. It seems hard to believe that it's all by chance.
But we are just manifestations of the Sun's energy.

42 (or forty-two), is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. This Answer was first calculated by the supercomputer Deep Thought after seven and a half million years of thought. This shocking answer resulted in the construction of an even larger supercomputer, named Earth, which was tasked with determining what the question was in the first place.
As for the science of the solar system and life, those are two different questions. Look on the Wikipedia pages of each.Source(s): https://hitchhikers.fandom.com/wiki/42

That causes interstellar hydrogen and dust to clump together and those clumps eventually condense in to solar systems.
The compression as various masses form suns or planets causes heating & gravitational pressure is great enough to cause nuclear fusion in masses the size of stars.
Ours is a third-generation one, the dust it is made from is the result of two previous generations of suns forming, aging and eventually blowing themselves apart in supernovas.
That's needed to create the elements heavier than iron and our system has lots of those.
It's also why it is only around 4.5 billion years old rather than the same age as the overall universe.
