I want to get a CD from the USA but will it play in the UK?

I want to get NOW 73 in the USA to add to my NOW collection

But it a USA CD but will it play in the UK?

    Unless you can somehow encrypt grooves, then yes, it'll work.

    To be certain it will work hold the player upside down and backwards.

    All CDs will play anywhere.

    They have no region coding.

    I'm in the US and have bought several CD's from the UK before and they play well when I get them...The CD packaging is sometimes of a slightly different size and so doesn't fit as uniform with other CD's in my stack but I have never had any that don't play. Also the size of the CD itself seems to be uniform both in thickness and in diameter. If it is different its slight because I can see no difference through casual inspection.

    Yes. CD is a universal standard invented by a collaboration of Philips of Holland and Sony of Japan, and it will play in all CD players world wide. Unlike DVD movies, there is no regional restriction on CDs. Philips wanted to use analog signals but Sony insisted on digital.
