is it possible to tip a boat over by rocking it?

Is it possible to tip over a good size boat by rocking it? How likely is this?'

Supposed we all decided to get the boat REALLY ROCKING.

    Ferry boats have tipped over when hundreds of people tried getting off at the same time.

    very much so. Quite a number of third world ferries have capsized due to the (overload of) passengers rushing to one side to see something.

    Yes, it's very possible - and it's an asinine thing to do.  (Not sure what you mean by good sized?  I'm assuming you mean a row boat size).

    it really depends on the boat. kayaks and canoes are very easy to tip.
