Is this name bland?

I love the name Maria. But I was told it’s too bland . What do you think of Maria?

Maria (and variations of it) is a VERY old name and many incredibly interesting people with that name are scattered throughout human history. What is bland about that? A hundred times better than some silly mispelt trying-too-hard-to-be-original name IMO.

I don't think so, I find it exotic. I imagine a very pretty Spanish girl with long dark hair.

I love the name 'Maria ',too.

It is a classic and timeless name that will never go out of style....and is not bland at all.

Maria is actually one of my favourite names.

Maria is a classic.  You can't go wrong with that.  Maybe the person who told you it was bland knows a girl named Maria who is bland.

    NO!!! It a lovely name.

Blandness does not com into it, when I red some of the modern misspelled meaningless names.

I think it's fine.  You're going to find life a lot easier if you ignore the nay-sayers around you.  What you name your child is your decision, not anyone else's.
