Nope, there's no anti-virus or anti-malware soft ware that is 100% effective.

No..you need something stronger. Avoid going to websites you don't know. Don't go clicking on links you're unfamiliar with. Don't download from sites that you've near heard of. I use Kaspersky Internet Security, & my technician strongly recommends it as well. It's easy to use, & is like have an armed guard on your system.

Nope, no antivirus malware program is capable of protecting you 100%.

No it will not. Windows Security (Defender) is an Anti Virus program and does not check for some types of Malware.
You should install MALWAREBYTES as it is a anti Malware program.
A computer Virus is one type of Malware.

It might catch 50% of them. This is true for ALL malware detecting programs. Your habits matter WAY WAY more than a program.

No antivirus/antimalware program is 100% effective. It is still prudent to use good computer security practices even if you have antivirus program installed.

No, far from it. Technically nothing can 100% protect you from malware, but commercial products from Norton and Mcafee do a pretty good job as long as the use doesn't do stupid things.
