Dig/ pull them out - place in covered container full of water. Wait 2 months then use water as a liquid fertiliser. Compost the rest as it won't grow again after that treatment.

Don't ever let them go to seed.

Use a flame gun to wilt leaves & scorch new sprouts.

Weeds with a taproot are actually telling you something. They bring up nutrients from deep underground and loosen soil, so if you have a lot of weeds with taproots it means you have compacted soil that nothing else will grow in and is lacking in nutrients. If you solve this issue then the weeds will vanish.- Mother nature working.

boiling water does a number on them as you cook the roots.

vinegar browns the green leaves so it is a slow down.

using a sharp knife and cutting out the root and pulling it out is another way.

Fertilizing the lawn more often(at least 1ce a year really helps the grass grow which overpowers the weeds and let the grass grow..golf courses do a lot of fertilizing.

2 inches in grass length keeps the weeds from setting seed.

It is a daily activity. Otherwise you lose to weeds.
