How your father had to be reminded the clock needed winding up. Which was a reminder by his wife that she wanted her weekly copulation. That led to your birth.

    Why you wrote your memoir.

Why the reader should read your memoir.

Terry Jones and Alan Ereira wrote in the preface of "Terry Jones' Medieval Lives" that they wanted to bust some stereotypes about people who lived in the "Middle Ages" (that knights were chivalrous, that ladies could not take care of themselves, that all peasants were poor, dirty and stupid, etc.)  They wanted the reader to know that people who lived before modern times were basically like themselves and that they were not all cut with the same cookie-cutter.

Read a few prefaces to autobiographies.

That's where the author regales the reader with the story of how he came to choose the font for the book, how he went about selecting the characters' names, and then you add some other stuff about nappies.

Promise me you'll include that line I came up with for you, Danny Boy:

"I'm a diaper fetishist and I'm hoping you can change me."

    That one is pure gold.

Would you say that me giving it to you is "pampering" you?

    Classic.
