atheists: why did some people retain their African appearance while others did not?

take the south Indians for example, in many cases they are as dark as people in central Africa yet they have very different facial and hair features to central Africans, on the other hand there are tribes in SE Asia and the extinct aborigines of Tasmania that look remarkably like Africans, what explains this?

Very different "from", not different "to."  Not all dark-skinned people are negroid.

The poster is asking for elaboration. Of course it relates to the theory of evolution. He wants to know the how.

    Evolution explains this.

Atheists don't believe any gods exist.

If that doesn't answer your question, it means your question has nothing to do with atheists.

You have it backwards. If the question doesn't have anything to do with God/Religion, then is most certainly addresses atheists.

Why would atheists know? You need to ask someone who studies human genetics.

It's because atheists stick to the evolution theory. Consequently, they SHOULD know the answer to the question, which in happenstance is based on the evolution theory. If they don't know the answer, then why stick to evolution theory in the first place? So what if you're an atheist?

The typical answer by atheists to such a question would be:

There is no evidence that God exists. Mr. Anonymous down there with numerous likes already beat me to this answer though.

The problem is that they have it BACKWARDS. Anything that DOESN'T have to do with religion, is related to... well... anything that doesn't have to do with religion. Last I checked, that was atheism.

This is a legitimate question, and you want atheists to answer it, because it is related to the theory of evolution. I don't see why an atheist wouldn't be able to answer it, quite frankly.

Genetics. This is not a religious question.

Here is the answer atheism provides: "We see no compelling evidence that there are any gods".

If this answer does not satisfy the question, then the question is unrelated to atheism.
