Are AA battery chargers universal?

Example can I use Duracell battery charger to charge Energizer rechargeable batteries without any issues or vice versa.  Can I use Energizer battery charger to charge Rayovac rechargeable batteries.  I ask because I have all three brands of AA rechargeable batteries. I just have a Duracell battery charger.

    As long as the charger is suited to the chemistry of the cell(s) to be charged,

    it will work, but don't use a "rapid" charger for cells that are not specified as such.

    What you did not tell us is whether the batteries are single use, throw-away alkaline Lithium or other type, NiCad (Nickel Cadmium), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), Lithium or something else. For the most part

    1) Throw-away batteries should not used in a battery charger;

    2) NiCad and NiMH batteries can share the same charger;

    3) Lithium recharge-ables need s special charger because the battery profile is different.

    In any case, the charger should have a manual or a sticker that list what battery chemistry it can recharge.

    a parameter ... charging current ...

    how much is its charging current?

    every battery has a charging current (mA) that depends on its capacity(mAh) ...

    the standard charging current equals 1/10 of its capacity for 15 hours charging for a

    dead battery ..... for a dead 2500mAh → 250 mA

    Only the charger comes with an automatic shut down while battery is fully charged, that can be used to charge all brand AA battery.

    Generally speaking

    a battery recharger will only recharge particular CHEMICAL TYPES of batteries.

    The brand of the batter - TYPICALLY - is not important.

    (There have been some unique-battery chargers).

    SO:

    for example

    if you have a NiCad battery charger

    it should charge ANY brand of NiCad battery.

    If you have a Lithium battery charger

    then it should charge ANY brand of Lithium battery.

    etc.

    There are "universal chargers"

    that will charge even alkaline and carbon batteries (i.e. even non-rechargeable batteries).

    SO: check which CHEMICAL TYPES of batteries

    your recharger is designed to recharge.

    Yes, you can use the same charger for all those batteries.
