Is 33-34 to old to have a baby? ?

    After the age of 25 the chances of having a baby with Downs Syndrome significantly increases.  If you do, make sure you go to a doctor on schedule, take vitamins, and take extra care of yourself.

      Actually, studies have shown that paternal age is more important than maternal age.

    No, that's not too old. My mom had me at 33, and I have a friend who didn't have her kid until she was about six months away from turning 40.

      My grandmother's last child was born when she was 47.

    My sister had both her two children after 40.  Both girls.  And they both grew up to be beautiful, healthy, intelligent girls.  (They are both lesbian, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it.  I think it's just a coincidence.)
