Do you make your own jerky(with or without meat), dried fruits or vegetables?

Have you ever had any spoil and did it take long? I've already heard that fat and pathogens are not my friends.

How do you store dried foods?

No, we don't make jerky at home. My brother has though.

My uncle makes deer jerky every Christmas but I dont know how long it takes to spoil as it's not usually around long. Usually you want to store dried goods like jerky and dried fruit in a cool dry place in an air tight container

I've made some chips and have dried hops for use in brewing. Mostly, they get put into a plastic bag and sealed while the contents are still warm. To be honest, the chips don't usually last long enough to go bad.

Store it vacuum sealed and in a freezer.
