Why isn't more help available for young adults?

My parents did not give me the

keys to live on my own. Dad has

multiple-schleroris and is useless.

I can't depend on him for anything.

Mom works 60 hours/week as

a real-estate agent and takes

her anger out on me.

I don't know how to work

with them, or help them!?

Then, I have to finish colllege

too, with them hanging over me?

What am I supposed to do? Help!

    I understand your situation.

You should keep in mind your parents' problems are not your own, and you're not obliged to take care of them.

You're free to start your own life away from them. I'm sure they can get help from the government if they really need it.

As for useless, nobody chooses to be ill. That's not their fault. Sometimes life is cruel and we have to deal with awful situations.

I always tell everyone the same thing. If your 18-22 and do not know what to do with your life join the US military for four years. You will see the world and when you get out you can go to college for free and not have to work. You might even get a disability rating which is like early retirement money which really helps.

Debt is horrible and so is depending on others. Even if you don't like the military after a few months of being in just suck it up and make the best of it.

When I left the Air Force I had about $80,0000 and a bunch of free college coming my way. Good luck friend.

if you are in college and do not have enough common sense to find counsling or talk with a financial service about how to do these things, then you are lost.

Oh NO you have both your parents alive, a house to live in and one of them is in well-paying employment, AND you 'have' to go to college?

I suggest you cut all contact and get a flight to the Congo with literally nothing more than the clothes on your back. See how well you do then.
