How did people in the olden days contact friends without Snapchat or iMessage?

    Telephone, letters, telegram or house visits social media is a very recent phenomenon but people got by their daily lives for thousands of years before its existence so there's always been communication just different kinds of communication.

    Well we  actually  had  real  friends  that  we  ACTUALLY  knew  as  opposed  to a random group of  alleged  friends that  we  know  in  cyberspace????

    Sometimes they'd walk to the other person's house to say hello. Can you believe it ?

    Not only would they get exercise but communicate face to face with the other person.
