Which degree offers more job opportunities: Communications or Marketing?

    I would not take either of those majors.  They will both lead to a life of hard times.  If you want to be successful in business get your degree in STEM and then get your MBA after to make a killer combo.

    Marketing only, most of the business sectors should depends on marketing.

    Probably marketing. Communications, journalism, PR, advertising, media, etc, have been glamour occupations at least since the 1960s, maybe even the 1950s, and are chronically glutted. Less than half of grads in such fields will ever find jobs in those fields. But marketing & other business degrees are now a glut on the market, too.

    How well did you do at how good a school? What do you have to demonstrate to an employer that you have what it takes, and beat out all the other applicants for that job?

    Marketing. 

    But a lot of grads in both areas end up working in the restaurant industry (like Starbucks).
