What is considered ideal room temperature? Would 77 degrees be on the normal or warm side of that spectrum?

This is not a question about Chemistry.  It needs moving.

Room temperature is set between 78 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit (or 20 to 22 degrees Celsius). This is what offices, public buildings, schools, stores, etc. all aim for.

77 degrees F is considered WAY too hot. And people with heart arrhythmia problems will suffer at that temperature.

      20C to 22C is 68F to 72F.  I think you wrote 78 instead of 68

72F is comfortable, 77 (to me) would be hot and uncomfortable.

My gf would love it 77, so it depends on the person.

FYI there is a rhyme for the metric temps:

30 is hot, 20 is nice,10 is cold,0 is ice!

But 20C is a little cool for most people...
