    C    = π d

    d   =  12•56 / 3•14

    d   =  4 ft

    D=C/pi

    12.56/3.14=4 ft

    The circumference of a circle is 12.56 feet.

     The circle's diameter is 3.99797217047 feet.

     (C = πD, D = C/π)

    Remember the circle equations ;

    C = pi d

    A = pi r^2

    Hence

    d = C / pi

    d = 12.56 ft / 3.141592....

    d = 3.99797217.... ft

    d = 3 ft 11.97 inches ~ 12 ft.

    C = πd

    d = C/π

    d = 12.56/π

    d = 3.99 feet or 4 ft answer//

    The formula for the diameter circle is Pi times the diameter.

    So 3.14 times ? = 12.56 feet, and therefore ? = 4 feet.
