Is this serious and should I go to gp?

Behind my ear I have a pimple which I have been squeezing it is sore but it is also sore underneath like a swollen lymph node. Is this normal or shoukd I go for blood test to rule out cancer?

Pimples are near surface "cemeteries" for dead white blood cells.

They are formed by fluids "puffing" out the flesh to make room for the cells.

Squeezing is forcing the fluid or pus back under the skin.

Leave it alone. Or at most put a piece of sticking plaster on it for a week or so. The sticking plaster will allow the skin to thin out to release the pus (if there) to be wiped away.

Severe treatment would be to use a sterilized needle to puncture the developed pus filled  skin bubble, at the adjacent skin level, wipe away the pus.

People don't get cancer behind the ear. Sounds as if the pimple is infected. You may need antibiotics.
