What does Sapphic mean? Am I sapphic?

I mean "Sapphic" as in lesbianism. I would date a cis woman and a trans woman, would that make me sapphic or lesbian?

Do you write love poetry for women?

"Sappho was an Archaic Greek poet from the island of Lesbos. Sappho is known for her lyric poetry, written to be sung while accompanied by a lyre. In ancient times, Sappho was widely regarded as one of the greatest lyric poets and was given names such as the "Tenth Muse" and "The Poetess".

No? Then you're probably just a lesbian...though that's great in itself!

Do not date straight women. Leave them alone.

Sappho was a 7th century poet who wrote about woman-woman love.

If you are into other women you are a lesbian. Again, leave straight women alone.

It means women who are attracted to other women so just another word for lesbian.

It also means things related to Sappho but I don't think this is what you mean.

Just say "lesbian" so you don't confuse people.
