Can pets and/or wild animals get COVID-19?

    Yes, but whether the virus takes hold and harms them or the animal is just a carrier, I'm not sure.  So far I've read twice about dogs who were found to have it.

    Where do you think the virus started. It started from either a snake or bat, jumped to the pangolin, then made its way to humans after consuming pangolin meat. 

    As for pets getting it from humans, there’s been only 2 cases so far but it’s hard to say if the dogs got it or if it’s on the dog’s surface of the tongue from licking the infected owner.

    Remember the virus was supposed to have "jumped" from animals to humans.
