Should a company have a right to tell you weather you can have facial hair or not?

Update:

Like the New York Yankees insist that all thier players be clean shaven

Yes they should.  There are levels of hygiene required by some industries and other have safety requirements which makes facial hair an impediment to hygiene and safety.  So Yes some companies must enforce facial hair requirements along with safety standards.

It depends on what you do for a living if you're a welder and you have facial hair its best to shave it to wear your respirator and so that the respirator fits the best it can to protect you so you're not breathing in the toxic fumes.

That depends where do you live and what are your rights.

In India "freedom of speech" is a fundamental right to every individual.

This is a sensitive subject because the nature of the ruling determines its validity.

In some environments, the  removal or control of hair is necessary for hygiene and to prevent contamination. This may apply to medical treatment and food preparation.

In some industrial situations,  safety requirements such as wearing respirations may require a clean shaven face to allow effectiveness.  Also, clean room operations may require no loose hair to prevent tainting the product.

If the decision is made because the company has a dislike for personal style, this becomes a separate matter of discrimination and prejudice.

The Asker didn't ask if they can. He/she asked if they should have a right.
