So my sewing machine was first of all hooking to later realize that the bobbin case has shifted and the needle was hitting it. So i opened it up and turned the bobbin case back. Then I left it and came back another time to use it and it wasn't stitching. I checked online and they said the hook timing was wrong. I checked it and fixed it.....

now if I roll the wheel, the hook gets the top thread. but once I put the cloth it doesn't. I'm so confused rn. I need help.

It's a minichef sewing machine. The small ones with purple knobs

Change the needle. It tends to cure most ills - timing goes off if the needle is even slightly bent.
