Do you prefer a rural setting or an urban one?

I prefer to live in a quiet area but near the city. Maybe a suburb where I have a car, which makes it easy for me to commute between the towns and within the city area.

A urban one but not too big and too crowded.

Rural, but the wooded land around here is being eaten up by Walmarts, Strip Malls, Urgent Care, etc. :(

Rural gets boring.
City life is more dangerous and exciting.

I live in the 'town' part of a rural setting. Despite being 'in town', I once saw a kangaroo hopping in the park at the back! I love listening to the wild birds and cattle in the distance. I'm in a unit on the second floor and have views of the ranges. I find it soothing whenever I look at them . . .

Depends on the circumstances. In a city there's more to see/do, but in the country
without a car and reliable friends, can be difficult and/or expensive to get around.

I definitely prefer a rural one right now. I can still get out and go for a walk every day. not sure if that's always possible in some urban areas.
