If you get selected in H1b lottery but now, decided not to go United States?
You applied for H1B application in impulsive way and few months later just got news that you are selected in H1b lottery but now do not want to go to US due to some family priorities!
Will you employer force you to go head for visa stamping and transfer to US?

Slavery ended in the USA in 1865.

In the US no employer can "force" you to do anything (except possibly if your employer is the military and you're a formal enlistee).

Notify the employer immediately that family obligations prevent you from accepting their job offer. There are tens of thousands of others awaiting employment visas, and it will go to someone else - assuming that despite the pandemic your job offer is still open, and visas will actually be issued for foreigners to enter the country.
Better to back out now than count on this & find out that no visas are going to be issued so that you have no job after all.

The H-1B is a visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, section 101 that allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations....it is NOT a visa lottery and the employer would not be impressed that you changed your mind after they sponsored your visa...but they can't force you to use it, just don't expect to ever get one again
