Why are Russia and Turkey doing joint patrols together in Russia when Russia is Pro Assad Anti Rebel and Turkey is Pro Rebel Anti Assad?

They share a border. They have to cooperate. All of Turkey is not against Assad, only in some situations do they dispute like how to handle the border regions, get rid of the terrorists. Turkey does not like having 3 million Syrian refugees there. As they say, good fences make good neighbors.

The Little Man in the Kremlin is in no position to get into a fight with the Turkish sultan. His solution to the problem you've outlined is those joint patrols.
Don't worry, they're both thugs, and that guarantees that sooner rather than later they'll be back at each other's throats again. It's inevitable.

ALSO, Russia just closed their borders now!!!! Talk about third world mentality.
