What is the predicate, subject, object, and modifier in the sentence “She is eating food.”?

    Subject is she. Predicate is everything starting with is. Object is food. There is no modifier.

    There is no modifier in that sentence. The subject is "she", the verb it "is eating" (present progressive), and the object is "food". If it said "She is eating food quickly" then "quickly" would be the modifier.
