Ford says it's ramping up production. 'We're going like hell' on masks, ventilators.

So, what in the hell are you talking about? https://www.foxnews.com/media/ford-ramps-up-produc...

My guess is that you have no idea what ventilators are or how they are made. It would take any company a year to convert their production line and another to manufacture enough product. That's why ventilators cost as much as cars to make.

You don't just retool a plant overnight, it's one thing to go from making cars to making tanks and planes like they did in WW II,,, it's a whole different matter to go from making cars to making medical equipment.

By the time they gear up, the crisis will be over.

By the time you need a ventilator, chances are 90%, you ain't gonna make it anyway.

    Savvy?

They may well do. The reason GM is news is that they were were trying to screw the Government over and holding up the order.
