Your budget, if it's USD10k-15k, is impossibly small. Furthermore, you must have sufficient funds for all living expenses + return transportation to your country of citizenship in addition to all school/training related costs.

If you aim to become a commercial pilot, you need to join your own country's air force & get proper military training. Airlines and most commercial operations want those highly trained & experienced pilots, not those who only have a private pilots license.

Cheapest way to learn to fly is to join the air force in your own country.  Can't do better than free.

    How are you defining 'affordable'?

Basically; there is no cheap way to do this; the US is likely to be more expensive than options in your own or other countries.

Pilots I know trained in New Zealand. It cost around £80,000 GBP
