Where'the Wahmbulance when you need it?

You don't own the fence. Since you are not permitted to paint it, the obvious answer to to put up blinds.  How hard was that to figure out?

You don't own the fence so why do you feel entitled to paint it?

You can't make the landlord get it painted.  Could you just buy a cheap window shade, and call it a day?

They do not have to paint it, let you paint it or put anything in front of it.  It being government housing is irrelevant. When you rent you get no say in what color the fence is.

Go with the flow. Wear sun glasses. Can't get anywhere trying to fight city hall, landlords, or your significant other.
