The answer depends on how one defines "victory".  For me, victory means the formal surrender of the enemy.  There was no formal surrender by Iraq and therefore there was no victory.  The last victory the US had was WW2.

"Iraq" wasn't a victory. It was the start of the slide downhill that we are in today. Not really a "morass", but nothing that the US planned for.  Unintended consequence.

No WMDs were found so what the hell was it all for? It actually made the world a more dangerous place by giving hate preachers propaganda to radicalise individuals like the London suicide bombers two years later. And by installing a predomionantly Shia Muslim government which resulted in support for ISIS from the Sunni Muslims.

      Completely correct answer.
Iraq was a boondoggle & HUGE financial win for the Coalition of the Billing (including the former company of Shoot 'em in the Face VP Dick Cheney).
9/11 was the false premise for Bush 43 to finish what 41 refused to do. He got a lot of flack for it & Jr. tried to redeem it

      Incorrect.
1st it was the wrong target. Iraq had NOTHING to do w/ 9/11.
2nd we did NOT spread American values (democracy/capitalism/etc) in the Mideast.

3rd since we bombed the crap out of the country the least we could do is help rebuild (plus it funneled billions to The Coalition of the Billing).
