Best way to mix formula and Breast feeding ?

I wanted to breast feed and likely won't be pumping but wanted to let my husband do bottle feeding woth formula sometimes. How can I best do this while maintaining breast milk supply?

Don't use any bottles the first six weeks to establish supply and avoid nipple confusion.

After that, when he is going to give the baby a bottle, you can't be near the baby because the baby will want you, not the bottle.

Digestive upset will be minimized if you do pump milk for the bottles rather than switch off with formula, but it may not be an issue for your baby.

You need to maintain the milk supply.  Pumping or breastfeeding is the only way to do that.
