What does it mean if you have hcg hormones 3 months after loss of pregnancy? ?

I keep taking blood tests since I lost my baby however my levels are slowly going down. It’s been 2.5 months since the loss of my baby and my hcg level actually went up again. I am not having sex and haven’t since I was pregnant.

Why would this happen? Why is it taking so long and actually fluctuating up ?

Could you name a few reasons?

I have heard tissue left inside. Upon gyNo original ultrasound a month ago she hadn’t seen anything

I have no idea. Google it. Ask a gynecologist.

Does it matter? We don't have these tests in the U.K. your body will settle down in time.

No we do have pregnancy tests, but we don't have hormonal tests , any tissue left will cause bleeding, I had afterbirth left behind and had a D&C
