Yes this is classed as suicidal ideation, thoughts of suicide with no clear plan of how you would act on these thoughts

Yes.  An individual with suicide ideation also known as suicidal thoughts are thinking about, planning and/or considering suicide. The spectrum of suicidal thoughts range from fleeting thoughts to detailed planning.  Feeling suicidal goes beyond the thinking aspect, also extending to behavioral and/or physical changes within the individuals.  Examples: social withdrawal, disinterest in maintaining personal hygiene, anger, insomnia, heavy intake of drugs/alcohol, giving away sentimental belongings.

yeah almost everybody has Suicidal thoughts (or at least wishes they could permanently escape trials)  in times of heightened hardship. Suicidal behavior is, however, going beyond mere thoughts/wishes. the difference is of similar magnitude to the difference between Lusting after a Woman vs actually taking steps to Seduce her.
