No. If you are Indian citizen, your child is an Indian citizen. You had to obtain an Indian passport for your child immediately when it was born & take it back to India with you.

UK does not allow citizenship by birth in the country. Unless at least one parent is a UK citizen or hold ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain - legal permanent residency status) at the time the child is born, the child has no rights to UK citizenship & parents must obtain a proper visa (e.g. dependent visa for a foreign student on student visa) for the child after obtaining the child's passport from their country's consulate.

You needed to get your child an Indian passport & take it home with you before your tourist visa expired.

A person born in the UK to parents on tourist visas who also spent the first 10 years of his life here can register as a British citizen.  He will need to be able to prove where he lived and where he attended school.  That does nothing for his parents as we do not have chain migration in the UK.

The UK doesn't have birthright citizenship so probably not.

No, your son is an Indian citizen and has zero chance of British citizenship unless his other parent is a British citizen, in which case he already is a British citizen

No. Children of tourists are not eligible for citizenship, or any status in the UK. You need to see the Indian consulate and get him an Indian passport right away, because you have to take him home to India with you before your tourist visa expires.

    Nope

You can't get citizenship in the UK just by being born there.

As you were on a tourist visa, he has no claim to citizenship whatsoever.

There is a requirement for at least one parent to be legally settled in the UK for the child to gain British citizenship so a child born to a tourist would not qualify.

No.  The UK ended "birthright" citizenship on December 31, 1982.  Your son is a citizen of India.
