    We had worse, remember 1981?

I wouldn't be surprised if extra postseason rounds gets added in, just hope it doesn't become a recurring thing in the long run since there's more than enough postseason rounds as it is. But then again money talks.

This proposal is going to be rejectd by the owners. It's just a bargaining ploy.

There isn't enough time on the calendar to play that many games.  81 is enough.  Half a season.

In addition to the money aspect of the MLB proposal the players whined about putting their health at risk if they returned during the pandemic. Then they turn around and submit a counter-proposal that would have them playing 32 more games than what MLB proposed.

    Why?

So they can receive more money.Hypocrite much, you trained animals? The players claim that they can't survive on the money the owners are offering; after all, Steroid Mike Trout has a baby on the way and it's unreasonable to ask him to support his spawn on a measly $5,700,000 that he'd receive under MLB's latest offer. But 36,000,000 Americans are out of work and struggling to make ends meet and the scum bag players couldn't care less.

The owners are going to lose money this year but the players have shown they don't care. As Ghetto Blake Snell so eloquently put it: They want theirs.

And you can bet your Snell that if owners accept their offer and are forced into making deferred salary payments they will use it as an excuse to lower free agent offers, and then the animals will ***** about that and say that they are being cheated.

MLB needs to cancel the season, let the animals go without a paycheck for a year, and then try again once the crisis is over. In the grand scheme of things we don't need major league baseball and it's time for the douche bags who play the game to understand that.
