Breast cancer most often begins with cells inside the milk-producing ducts. Advanced breast cancer can also begin within the glandular tissue called lobules or in other cells or tissue within the breast.

Signs and symptoms of breast cancer may include:

A breast lump or thickening that feels different from the encompassing tissue

Change within the size, shape or appearance of a breast

Changes to heal the breast, like dimpling

    A newly inverted nipple

Peeling, flaking or crusting of the colorized area of skin surrounding the nipple or breast skin

Redness or pitting of healing your breast, just like the skin of an orange

Ancient Egyptions have records of attempting to perform surgery to remove growths in the breast that sound like what we refer to as breast cancer.
