Any ballads about anger?
Do you know any songs about anger that are slow and calm?
A sizzling sort of fury.
Sorry, I should've been more specific on what I was looking for, I wasn't expecting so many responses.
I'm looking for a calm, as in detached or resigned, kind of guitar, while the lyrics / vocals are rather sneering or snarling. Like wanting to spit. Does that make any sense? About speed, well, as long as it's slower than the usual punk songs then it's fine.A lot of the ones below are great! But please wait, I haven't gone through all of them yet.
Wow, so many spot-on choices. They're all brilliant brilliant songs, thanks everyone.
Ballad of a Thin Man was exactly what I needed. I bet the crowd in the live versions were pissed as well.

McCartney's "Rocky Raccoon" from The Beatles (white album). Rocky comes to town, angry because Dan has stolen his woman "Lill" (Nancy - or is it "nancy", as a homosexual man?). At a dance, Rocky comes in armed for a duel, but Dan shoots him down & Rocky bleeds to death.

It's hard to say what slow & calm is to you without any artist examples. What I find slow & calm, might be too fast for someone else.
Having said that, I've tried to give you a wide assortment of songs - and trust me when I tell you, none of these songs sound alike - so, if you don't like one, you might like another.
Also, you said 'ballad', so wasn't sure if you were implying songs about love and anger in that way, or just anger in general - so, I tried to cover the bases with songs about anger, hurt, broken heart, and inner battles - I didn't know where to draw the line, because there's different reasons for being angry (angry at others, at yourself, at life, etc.)
THE SOUND by the Plot In You (lyrics in video description)
HURT (originally done by Nine Inch Nails, but where you want a softer song, I'd recommend one if these versions)
GET HURT by The Gaslight Anthem
THE DRAW by Bastille
DREAM by Imagine Dragons
FALL APART (acoustic version - though I REALLY prefer the original version) by Earshot
RUNNING UP THAT HILL cover by Placebo
HYMN FOR THE MISSING by Red
NEEDS by Collective Soul
TREES by Twenty One Pilots
CRASH AND BURN by Lifehouse
LET'S HURT TONIGHT by OneRepublic
PIECES by Red
ALREADY OVER by Red
ALL AT ONCE by The Airborne Toxic Event
OF THESE CHAINS by Red
Okay, these are heavier, but they're great angry songs that I have to list:
I DON'T CARE by Apocalyptica
ANYTHING by Black Lab
Sorry, couldn't post all
